- Picture or Idol of Goddess Saraswati – To be worshiped.
- Kalash (Water-filled pot) – For invoking blessings.
- Mango Leaves – To be placed around the Kalash.
- Chalk or Pen – To symbolize learning and knowledge.
- Slate or Notebook – For the child to write their first letters.
- Turmeric and Rice Paste – For writing the first letters.
- White Clothes – For the child to wear (symbolizing purity and knowledge).
- Books and Study Material – To place in front of the deity for blessings.
- Fresh Flowers – White flowers are preferred for offering to the goddess.
